Your Day as a Senior Supply Chain Specialist Might Include:
- Procurement Management: Managing procurement of group products, including packaging machinery, materials, and factory-required products, ensuring optimal sourcing strategies and maintaining supplier relationships.
- Shipment Oversight: Overseeing the full shipment process immediately after procurement to ensure the timely delivery of goods, coordinating with logistics partners and handling any shipment-related issues.
- Nafeza Portal System: Issuing ACID using the Nafeza portal system [MTS], ensuring compliance with import/export regulations and efficient processing of documentation.
- CargoX Procedure Management: Handling the CargoX cycle and procedures for international shipping documentation.
- Supplier Engagement: Organizing and attending meetings with both local and international suppliers to negotiate terms, build strong relationships, and secure competitive deals.
- Sales Coordination: Collaborating with the sales team to understand product requirements, address their procurement needs, and ensure alignment with company sales objectives.
- Pricing Coordination: Generating accurate price quotations based on the company’s pricing system to support sales and profitability, while coordinating with finance to ensure compliance.
- Warehouse Communication: Coordinating with the warehouse team to manage stock levels, address inventory concerns, and ensure smooth product flow from procurement to storage.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Conducting regular data analysis and generating reports on procurement, shipment performance, and supplier effectiveness to support strategic decision-making.

So, what are the Job Requirements:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field. A Bachelor of Engineering or Science major is a plus.
- Experience: 4-7 years of experience in foreign purchasing roles, with specific knowledge of the European market and procurement processes.
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel abroad for supplier meetings and market research as required.
- Shipping & Customs Expertise: Familiarity with shipping and customs clearance processes to ensure smooth movement of goods across borders.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including the use of advanced functions for data analysis and reporting.
- Language Skills: Excellent command of written and spoken English.
